“We’re excited to be a Grossmont Adult School community partner,” said Freddie Harmon, Vice President for Human Resources at Viejas. The success of these events led to discussions of other ways in which Adult Education and Viejas could partner to better serve the current labor force as well as the community. This opportunity for Viejas employees grew out of an existing partnershi p with the award-winning Grossmont Adult School program that hosted Viejas-sponsored hiring events for jobseekers. In these classes, employees – and local community members – spend three hours, twice a week in class improve their on-the-job English skills.
